Scope and contact
Bassline Labs LLC, a California limited liability company, operates the Bassline product website at usebassline.com (http://usebassline.com) and manages requests for beta access and personalized onboarding. This notice covers that website, those requests and related correspondence. Future platform accounts, payments, uploaded content and plugin connections will have the applicable disclosures before those uses begin.

What we collect and why
When you request beta access, we collect your email address and associate it with a request identifier, an access-request label and a registration time. We use these records to manage your request, arrange personalized onboarding, contact you about the access you requested and respect your communication preferences.
The signup service saves your request, alerts our team so we can follow up, and automatically adds eligible new beta-access requests to our dedicated product-access email list. We maintain signup records and communication preferences to manage access and honor opt-outs. Joining does not create a paid subscription or automatically send you a confirmation or welcome email. It is not a separate subscription to general newsletters, creative tips or promotional offers. If we offer those communications, we will explain that choice when you enroll. We do not turn consulting records or unverified historical signups into product-marketing permission.
Our website infrastructure receives technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested addresses and request times, to deliver the website, diagnose problems and protect against abuse. The signup service uses an IP-derived identifier for temporary request throttling. It does not include your IP address in the registration or product-list signup record.
If you email us, we receive your address and message contents to respond and handle your request. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your question.
Providers and disclosures
Vercel hosts and delivers the website and signup service. Supabase stores product registrations in a dedicated production database. Resend delivers internal email alerts to our team, and Slack receives internal alerts so we can follow up. Those alerts include the email address you submitted and request details. Loops manages the dedicated product-access list, subscription preferences and email delivery when we send access-related messages. Google Workspace provides the business email service used for correspondence. With your analytics permission, Google Analytics processes website-usage information as described below. We share information needed for these functions.
The primary product-registration database is in Oregon, United States. Website delivery and provider operations can involve processing in other countries; this is not a promise that every copy or operation stays exclusively in the United States.
We do not sell registration information, disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising or give it to unrelated businesses for their own marketing. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or investigate abuse, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Email choices and tracking
You can ask us to stop access-related updates by emailing ramon@usebassline.com (mailto:ramon@usebassline.com). Commercial email updates will include a clear way to unsubscribe. We retain limited opt-out information where needed to prevent further unwanted contact. We honor recorded opt-outs and review unclear communication preferences before contacting you. A request for access does not itself subscribe you to general newsletters, tips or offers.
Open and click tracking are disabled in our Loops account. The signup itself does not send a visitor email or generate email-open/click events. Optional website analytics are separate from email tracking. If we introduce relevant email tracking or a different communication purpose, we will update the information provided and obtain consent where required. An updated privacy notice alone does not enroll you in broader marketing.
Cookies and website tracking
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to measure visits, referral sources, page views and actions such as starting and successfully submitting a beta request. Analytics uses cookies and processes technical device and visit information. Our integration does not include the email address or contents of the signup form in analytics events. It is configured to disable Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. Website delivery, security and diagnostics still occur, and a hosting-feedback tool may load where explicitly enabled.
Choose Allow analytics or Decline analytics, and change your choice using Analytics choices. We store that choice in your browser. Our integration starts Google Analytics only after permission and respects a Global Privacy Control signal by keeping analytics off. We do not otherwise change signup processing in response to legacy Do Not Track signals. We do not sell signup information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Retention and privacy requests
We keep registration information while reasonably needed to manage access, onboarding and related requests, unless you ask us to remove it sooner. We consider whether the access process remains active, your preferences, the need to prevent unwanted contact, and legal or security obligations. Backup and provider recovery copies can remain after removal from active systems. Internal notification copies and provider logs may follow different retention periods, and we address them when handling a privacy request. Our current Google Analytics settings retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months; new user activity can restart the user-retention period. Aggregated reports can remain longer. This notice does not promise instant deletion across every provider or a fixed automatic backup-expiry period.
To request access, correction or deletion, or to stop updates, email ramon@usebassline.com (mailto:ramon@usebassline.com). We may verify that you control the relevant address. We may retain limited records needed to honor an opt-out or meet legal obligations, and will explain a lawful reason if information must be retained. We consider applicable privacy rights and respond within legally required periods. You may ask us to review our response. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. This notice does not claim that Bassline meets every threshold of every state privacy law.
Security, age and changes
The website uses HTTPS, and database/list credentials remain on the server. Public visitors cannot read signup records. No internet service is perfectly secure. Our intended audience is U.S. businesses and professionals aged 18 or older. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
We will post the updated notice and its effective date when our practices change, and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
