What She Paid vs. What She Got Instead
I'm a little embarrassed by how much I spent on garland last Christmas. Craft store. Full price. One strand that didn't even reach both ends of my mantel. No lights, so I bought those separately and spent an hour wrapping them through. My sister-in-law asked if I'd "done it myself." She didn't mean it as a compliment. This year I almost did it all again. Then a friend sent me the one she'd found. Same soft, drooping cedar look — but the lights are already in it. Warm white for everyday, multicolor when the kids want it "fun." Battery powered, remote, a timer that turns it on at 5pm. Two of them in the box. I put one on the mantel and one on the stairs. Took fifteen minutes. Same sister-in-law, this year: "Okay, where is this from?" Top photo is what I paid for last year. Bottom photo is what I have now.

Creative notes
Why it fits
This composition effectively contrasts two different garland options by showing a plain, unlit garland with a high price tag versus a decorated, pre-lit garland with a lower price. The visual comparison highlights the value and convenience of the pre-lit garland, making it a useful reference for demonstrating product benefits through direct visual contrast.

Adaptation guidance
To rebuild this mechanism, use the customer's original product images showing a plain or less desirable version and a superior, enhanced version of the product. Incorporate clear price tags and simple, relatable captions to emphasize the value difference, ensuring the layout visually separates the two options for easy comparison.
