# A Few Words From the Founder of Plastiktiara Over the past few months, many people have asked me why I chose to remain silent. Some asked out of genuine concern, while others were simply curious after following the discussions surrounding Plastiktiara. Among all the comments I read, one question stayed with me more than any other: *"I don't know why people still purchase things from him."* At first, I was upset. But after thinking about it, I realized it was actually a fair question. After everything this brand has been through—shipping delays, production challenges, payment issues, the Mugler Armor project, and the recent conversations online—why do so many collectors continue to support Plastiktiara? The answer, I believe, is simple. It isn't because we have been perfect. We haven't. Like every growing handmade business, we have made mistakes, and I take full responsibility for them. Every challenge over the past four years has taught me something about craftsmanship, communication, and what it truly means to earn someone's trust. People often see the finished product, but they rarely see what happens behind the scenes. Every garment begins long before the first photograph is taken. It starts with sketches, failed prototypes, discarded fabrics, countless revisions, and hours of hand sewing. Every detail is refined again and again until it feels right. Handmade craftsmanship is slow not because we choose inefficiency, but because quality simply cannot be rushed. The greatest challenge of running a handmade brand has never been making beautiful products. It has always been managing time and communication. Unlike large companies, we cannot solve problems by increasing factory output or hiring hundreds of workers overnight. Every new order requires more hours, and there are only so many hours one person can physically work in a day. As Plastiktiara grew from a small studio into a brand serving collectors around the world, I realized that growth doesn't only bring opportunity—it also brings greater responsibility. One of my biggest lessons came from the Mugler Armor project. While I remain proud of what we created, I also recognize that I introduced an ambitious product before every part of the production process had been fully refined. Looking back, I should have waited. That experience reminded me that creating something extraordinary is only half the job; delivering it consistently and communicating honestly with customers is just as important. Communication, in fact, is where I believe I had the most room to improve. For years, I assumed that posting updates on Instagram Stories or Facebook was enough. I thought customers would naturally see those updates and understand what was happening behind the scenes. I now realize that assumption was wrong. Customers shouldn't have to search social media for information about an order they have already placed. They deserve clear, direct, and consistent communication, and that is something I am committed to improving. I also understand why many people ask why Plastiktiara doesn't operate like larger brands or sellers who always have ready-to-ship products available. The reality is that our business is built on a very different model. Producing large quantities of handmade inventory requires significant capital and carries enormous financial risk, especially for a small independent studio. We have experimented with other systems, including deposits and limited stock production, but those experiences taught us that pre-orders remain the most sustainable way for us to continue creating while maintaining the quality our collectors expect. That doesn't mean we aren't changing. Over the coming months, you will begin to see improvements across many parts of the business. We are refining our production process, improving communication, expanding our creative support, and gradually introducing more ready-to-ship pieces whenever it can be done without compromising quality. My goal has never been to become the biggest brand in this hobby. My goal is simply to become a better one. At the end of the day, Plastiktiara is not a factory. It is not backed by investors or a large production team. It is a handmade studio built on passion, patience, and craftsmanship. Every piece carries not only fabric and thread, but also time, experience, and the dedication of the people who made it. If there is one thing I hope this letter conveys, it is that I have listened. I have read the praise, the criticism, the disappointment, and the encouragement. Some comments were difficult to read, but many of them helped me recognize where this brand needs to grow. For that, I am genuinely grateful. I cannot promise perfection, because no handmade business can. What I can promise is that we will continue learning, continue improving, continue communicating more openly, and continue creating every piece with the same care that inspired Plastiktiara from the very beginning. To everyone who has supported us—whether you have been here since our first collection or have only recently discovered our work—thank you for your trust, your patience, and your belief in handmade craftsmanship. It means more than words can express. — Mohammad Founder, Plastiktiara
